This coffee is from the Salto Estate, which we have featured many times before. Owned and run by the Reis family for generations (5, to be precise!), this lot is named after the youngest member of the family, the grandson Octavio, who has put extra effort into environmentally conscious growth, earning both UTZ and Rainforest Alliance certifications for years now, and their coffees have been finalists in both the Cup of Excellence, as well as regional competitions. This lot is creamy and thick bodied, with notes of milk chocolate, red delicious apples, toasted almonds, and dates.
