Like the Shantawene Buncho Natural which we just wrapped up, this coffee comes from the supplier Daye Bensa, run by the Dukamo family, who have turned-out award-winning coffees, including 2nd place in this year's Cup of Excellence. This coffee is another example of their excellent work, and actually scores higher than the Natural. It's a single varietal, which is unusual for Ethiopia; it is picked, fermented for 36hrs, then dried on raised beds for a couple weeks. This coffee is very sweet and floral; a syrupy mouthfeel and cacao nib flavor give a structured base for canned pineapple and stonefruit notes, with lemon verbena, star jasmine, and lavender notes.
Sold in 1lb increments.

This coffee is everything you want and look for in an Ethiopian natural process. From when my coffee machine grinds the beans that fills my kitchen with a beautiful coffee and fruity aroma to the taste that is so clean with a fruit/berry like finish. I am a huge fan of Ethiopian coffees, and highly recommend this Shantawene Buncho Natural process coffee.
