This is a departure from my norm of big fat juicy natural Ethiopias, but sometimes something really good comes along, and it's fun to highlight the wildly different flavor profiles found in this origin. It's not a delicate coffee, like some washed Ethiopias; it has a lot of depth, with deep cacao, caramel sweetness, Assam black tea notes, nutmeg, peach, citrus, and mild floral notes. It's really balanced, and I suspect it's going to make excellent espresso as well as drip, of course.
