I don't have much background on this coffee, as it's not a microlot or estate coffee, instead hailing from many smallholders in the Cerrado region of Minas Gerais, processed and blended according to the importer's specifications. That Brazil can produce coffee at this level without hand-picking, at a very large scale, is a testament to their skill and use of technology.
This is a clean, heavy-bodied cup, chock full of baker's chocolate, molasses sweetness, candied walnuts, and gentle plum notes. This will make for chuggable drip, and kill it as a buttery, thick, sweet single origin espresso!
