It's been a while since we carried a coffee from Fazenda Salto, so I'm happy to grab some of this crop. This farm has been in the family for generations, and puts extensive efforts into providing social benefits for their workers, including housing, medical care, and a school they built 50 years ago, which is now a model school in the area. They also take extreme care environmentally, with Rainforest Alliance Certification and an accompanying 400 hectares of preserved forest.
Deep and chocolatey, with heavy body, toffee and toasted almond take the fore, with black cherry and tangerine zest bringing balance to the cup. Excellent with any brew method!
Sold in 1lb increments.
NOTE: Prices on Brazil have skyrocketed due to the tariffs. There is negotiation over coffee tariffs; if prices fall, we will adjust also.
